Gift Cards (Round 2!)

We’ve got one more round of fundraising to do this season, and the gift cards were a big hit! Here’s your chance to fill up on cards for groceries and fuel, or try something new and different from the last order. We are planning to hold our DAS Show After-Party at Boston Pizza in University Heights as well, so a BP’s gift card would be a worth-while investment!

Check out our previous post for more info on FundScrip and how the fundraising works.

Order deadline is May 15, 2019, which should get us our cards well in time for June 1. Follow the link below to our order form to get started – your order will be confirmed via email by Dance Alive before you pay anything.

Fundraising – Usborne Books

We have one more round of fundraising happening before costume balances are due! One of our May fundraising activities is from Donna Dubé with Usborne Books at Home.

Usborne books are from the UK but are sold through mostly direct sales here in Canada. A few titles are available in stores through other retail stores at a discount but Donna has access to the entire inventory of over 2000 titles. There are baby and young children interactive books (touchy feely, sound, lift the flap, fold out) as well as more advanced readers, phonetic books, graphic novels, and illustrated classics. Beyond that, there are sticker books, “wipe-clean” workbooks with dry erase pens, crafts, puzzle books, search and find, science experiments, intros to other languages and more! There are so many options to choose from and they make great gifts for friends or excellent additions for your personal library at home.

There will only be a 5 DAY WINDOW open for ordering from the time you choose your items to payment. Orders will be accepted from:

Monday May 6 to Friday May 10

All orders will go through Donna and she has graciously agreed to donate back 15% of the proceeds for fundraising! Follow the links below to join the online party or get in contact with Donna:

Summer Planning Survey!

It’s that time of year – we are trying to plan for our summer program and we need YOUR help! DAS will be holding classes from Monday to Thursday throughout July, and we want to know what YOU want to take.

Please take the survey below to tell us what styles and levels of classes you might enjoy. Note that not all options will be offered – we are only trying to see what will be most popular. We don’t have room for everything, so if you don’t vote, your desired class may not be scheduled. If you include your name and contact info, you will be automatically entered into another survey draw for a **$50 DAS gift card** (draw date will be May 1, 2019).
