LINE DANCE

Ready for a root-tootin’ good time? Join us on Thursdays for LINE DANCE! This is a country-western social dance style, typically done in large groups at celebrations like weddings and anniversaries, or at the local bar on the weekends. If you love country music, moving your feet, and a pair of good cowboy boots, then this class is for you!

There is no experience required and anyone can join. Line Dances are created specific to each song, so we find your favourites and simply teach them to you. Suggestions are welcome!

LINE DANCE
Open to Absolute Beginners to dance and movement
Excellent for people of all ages and abilities. All dances can be modified to suit your needs!
Students will learn a short routine to each song and get to perform that routine over and over until the song finishes
*Many Line Dances include repetitive jumping and hopping on one leg, so moderate levels of fitness & strength are recommended for this style; modifications can be provided as needed
*No specific flexibility level is generally required for this style

HAIR
Anything you like!

CLOTHES
Anything comfortable and easy to move in. Feel free to wear jeans & flannels but be warned – we definitely get a sweat on in these classes!

SHOES
Line Dancers can wear anything they like: bare feet, socks, indoor runners, or even Cowboy Boots! Whatever you choose, please make sure any footwear (runners or boots) are absolutely clean before wearing in the studio.
